PARDON ME?

Pardon Me? I hear you saying. Sometimes the real news is even stranger than the shit posted on this blog. and this is one of those times 🙁

In an absolutely stunning display of nepotism, departing US President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter this week, a fortnight before he faced sentencing on two charges. Bidens wayward son kept carrying on as he was granted a pardon that basically covered everything he’d ever done, and for good measure any future crimes or accusations. How does this work I hear you ask? Well, we here at the National Inquisitor are not sure how one can be immune for crimes yet to be committed. But there it is anyway.

THE CHARGES

Hunter Biden was facing serious jail time for federal felony gun and tax convictions. There were other allegations of drug possession, and other things as well. As for the above mentioned felonies Biden Jr. could have faced 25 years in prison. Though, being white and coming from money it’s likely that the sentence would have been far less.

THE ACTUAL QUOTE FROM BIDEN REGARDING THE PARDON:
“from the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.”

“Joe Biden literally tweeted out ‘No one is above the law’. I guess there should’ve been more to that tweet, ‘except my son Hunter’.

PUBLIC OPINION

“The thing that’s so significant about that pardon is isn’t just for the two crimes that he’s been found guilty of … he gave him an 11-year blanket pardon.” Another concerned congress man said “Look we all know, Trump talks out his ass, regularly. This is just a new low, even for politicians.” Another said “How can Biden claim his son was unfairly treated when Hunter was found guilty by a court of law” another said “We’re already scrambling like rats on a sinking ship to clean up the mess Biden made of the Democrat party, no he goes and does this? There’s no positive spin we can put on this one”

We here at the National Inquisitor believe there’s many ways to skin a cat. Hopefully the pardon doesn’t extend to the American civil court so he can still get the pants sued off him.

There is talk however Biden will be issuing more pardons to government officials who might come under fire once the Trumpster takes office… stay tuned for that one!
